Fried Egg Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 2 slices bread
- 1 tomato
- 1 egg
- 50 g (1.8 oz.) cheese
- Greens to taste
- Onions to taste
- Cut a hole for an egg in one of the bread slices.
- Cut greens and onions.
- Put the bread in a hot pan. Crack the egg inside the hole. Put the greens and onions on the second slice. Cover with cheese. Fry over medium heat until cooked.
- Put the slice with the cheese on the plate first, put the tomatoes on top, cover with the other slice.
Cottage Cheese Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 kg (2.2 lb.) cottage cheese
- 4 egg
- 360 g (0.8 lb.) flour
- 100 g (0.2 lb.) sugar
- 100 g (3.5 oz.) oil
- Mash the curd with a fork until a smooth and lump-free consistency is achieved.
- Add sugar and eggs into the mixture, gently folding them in until a smooth and homogeneous blend is achieved.
- Add 5 tablespoons of flour to your batter and blend once again until smooth.
- Put the pan over heat and add sunflower oil.
- Add some flour to a bowl. Make a few balls from the batter and roll in the flour.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until a golden crust appears.
Crepes
Ingredients:
- 1L (0.3 gal) milk
- 4 egg
- 500 g flour
- 50 g (0.1 lb.) sugar
- 10 g (0.3 oz.) salt
- 5 g (0.3 oz.) baking soda
- 10 g oil
- Beat the eggs with sugar in a large bowl.
- Heat some of the milk in a saucepan, add the salt, and blend thoroughly with the egg and sugar mixture.
- Gradually fold in the flour, constantly stirring to avoid lumps.
- Add the baking soda, salt, and oil. Stir.
- Add the rest of the milk and whisk. The batter should be quite thin.
- Preheat a frying pan.
- Cook on both sides until a golden hue is attained.
Cheese Spread and Egg Toast
Ingredients:
- 2 slices bread
- 50 g (1.8 oz.) cheese spread
- 1 tomato
- 2 egg
- Greens to taste
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Boil the eggs in salted water. Peel and cut in half.
- Slice the tomato.
- Toast each slice of bread in a toaster or oven, add the cheese spread.
- Top with the tomato slices and garnish with the greens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pepper and Cheese Bruschetta
Ingredients:
- 4 slices bread
- 2 bell peppers
- 200 g cheese
- 20 g (0.7 oz.) pine nuts
- 1 garlic clove
- Fresh basil to taste
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Slice and fry the bread.
- Deseed and dice the bell peppers. Put them onto a baking sheet, sprinkle with oil, salt, pepper, and bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 °C (392 °F).
- Grind the basil with salt in a mortar. Add the nuts, garlic, Parmesan and grind once again. Add the olive oil and mix.
- Spread the pesto sauce on the bread, add the baked pepper, goat cheese, and small basil leaves.
Guacamole
Ingredients:
- 1 chili pepper
- 3 avocados
- 2 tomato
- 1 onion
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 lime
- Salt to taste
- 1 garlic clove
- Peel and chop the tomatoes. Blender the chili peppers, cilantro, tomatoes, lime zest, and onions until homogeneous.
- Add one to two tablespoons of water and lime juice to thin the mixture.
- Peel the avocado, remove the seeds, and dice finely. Add to the chili and tomato mixture and mash thoroughly.
- Serve.
Chocolate & Coffee Muffins
Ingredients:
- 85 g (3 oz.) butter
- 125 g (4.4 oz.) water
- 125 g sugar
- 20 g (0.7 oz.) instant coffee
- 120 g flour
- 1 egg
- 100 g (3.5 oz.) Mascarpone cheese
- 6 g (0.2 oz.) powdered sugar
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356 °F).
- In a saucepan, mix the water with sugar. Heat the mixture stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.
- Add 60 g (2 oz.) of the butter, cocoa powder, baking soda, and freshly brewed coffee to the warm liquid. Bring to a boil, then let it simmer over low heat for a few minutes. Cool the mixture.
- Mildly beat the egg with a whisk or fork. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with baking soda.
- Mix the cooled liquid with the flour and the egg to make smooth, thin batter.
- Insert paper muffin liners in a 6-slot tray. Distribute the batter between the liners, about 3/4 of the way up.
- Bake for 20 minutes, allowing the muffins to raise and firm up. Leave to cool (e.g. on a grill).
- Cream: Using a mixer, blend the Mascarpone cheese with softened butter (the remaining 25 g (0.9 oz.)), powdered sugar, and instant coffee (the ingredients should be at room temperature).
- Fill a piping bag with a large nozzle with the cream and deposit on the muffins.
Apple Pie
Ingredients:
- 5 apples
- 200 g flour
- 3 egg
- 140 g sugar
- 20 g (0.7 oz.) hazelnuts
- 5 g (0.2 oz.) butter
- 5 g (0.2 oz.) baking powder
- Peel the apples, chop the nuts roughly.
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356 °F). Grease and flour a baking dish.
- Beat the eggs with sugar to a foam. You can use less sugar if desired. Sift the flour into the mixture and blend gently. Add the baking powder to add more lift, mix.
- Slice the apples, put them in the baking dish, sprinkle with the chopped nuts, and fold in the batter. Put the pie in the hot oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. Push a toothpick in to check whether it is done.
Cheesecake
Ingredients:
- 300 g (10 oz.) shortbread
- 15 g (1 oz.) butter
- 250 g (9 oz.) cream cheese
- 100 mL (3.4 oz.) 33% cream
- 100 g (0.2 lb.) sugar
- 2 egg
- 5 g (0.2 oz.) vanilla powder
- Melt the butter in the oven
- Crush the shortbread and mix with the melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the baking dish forming a firm cheesecake base and refrigerate.
- Whisk the cream cheese, cream, and sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the eggs and vanilla powder constantly stirring.
- Pour the mixture on top of the cheesecake base.
- Bake in a water bath at 170 °C (338 °F) for 35 minutes.
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
- Decorate with berries or jam before serving.
Multi-Vitamin Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 6 kiwis
- 2 bananas
- 2 apples
- 72 mL (2.5 oz.) lemon juice
- Fresh mint to taste
- Cinnamon powder for decoration
- Prepare lemon juice.
- Peel and core the fruit and put them in a blender.
- Blender the kiwis, bananas, apples, and mint.
- Add the lemon juice to prevent the apples from darkening.
- Pour the smoothie in a serving mug and top with a pinch of cinnamon and a mint leaf.
Brazilian Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 7 limes
- 180 g sugar
- 150 g (5.3 oz.) condensed milk
- 2.5L (0.66 gal) water
- Quarter the limes and put them into the blender bowl. Add 4 cups of water, sugar, and condensed milk. Grind until the limes are chopped into small bits.
- Strain and squeeze the juice.
- Pour into the tap jar and gradually add the remaining water, tasting for sweetness from time to time (you don’t have to add all the water). We recommend pouring water into the jar through the strainer with the remaining limes to use the remaining juice and sugar.
Cherry and Vanilla Drink
Ingredients:
- 500 g (18 oz.) cherries
- 100 g (0.2 lb.) sugar
- 1.5L water
- 5 g (0.2 oz.) vanilla extract
- Mix the sugar and vanilla extract with water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Wash the cherries, remove the stems, and slightly mash the berries. Add them into the pot and turn off the stove.
- Cover your drink with a lid and let it brew for 1 hour.
